  • Tween Tribune – The Smithsonian’s news website for students.  Check about halfway down the page on the right-hand side to filter by topic.
  • CNN Student News – The news from CNN, with a strong focus on current events
  • PBS NewsHour Extra – News resources for students from the Public Broadcasting Service, a not-for-profit news source.
  • Kids Post – The Washington Post provides news articles for kids.  These are a little easier to read.
